Islamabad, Ghazanfar Azzam has resigned from his position as President and CEO of Mobilink Bank after a 12-year tenure, during which the bank achieved significant growth and enhanced its digital capabilities. The Board of Directors has named Haaris Mahmood Chaudhary as the interim CEO, pending approval from the State Bank of Pakistan.

According to Mobilink Bank, the board expressed gratitude to Azzam for his leadership and contributions that have significantly shaped the bank's direction. Under his guidance, Mobilink Bank has become a key player in the Microfinance sector and has undergone substantial digital advancements. The chairman of Mobilink Bank's Board of Directors and CEO of Jazz, Aamir Ibrahim, emphasized the board's commitment to ensuring a smooth leadership transition and upholding the bank’s standards of service and integrity.
