Paris, At the HUAWEI CONNECT 2023 event in Paris, Huawei emphasized the role of its Information and Communication Technology (ICT) innovations in driving Europe's digital and green transformation. The company's cutting-edge technologies are envisioned to empower various industries across the continent, enabling rapid progress towards a digital future.
According to Huawei, during the second day of the event, Mr. Yang Chaobin, a Huawei Board Member and President of ICT Products and Solutions, stressed the transformative impact of ICT innovations. He highlighted the digital economy's emergence as a new economic growth engine. Yang projected that by 2026, digital transformation will account for over 54 percent of developed states' GDP, substantially boosting productivity. He pointed out that Europe, with its competitive edge in industries like education and healthcare, is poised to seize new opportunities presented by the digital era.
Yang further stated Huawei's ambition to continue innovating in the ICT domain and move into the 5.5G era, addressing the essential needs of industry digitalization over the next 5 to 10 years. Huawei's commitment to developing innovative ICT products and solutions for the 5.5G era was emphasized, with a focus on simplified architecture, premium quality, and excellent user experience for data centers, WANs, campuses, SMEs, and more.
Huawei's innovative ICT products and solutions, including its intelligent 10GE IP+POL campus solution, HUAWEI eKit, and future-oriented data centers (DCs), were introduced by Yang to power industry digitalization in Europe. The company's role in advancing technologies like 5G and 5.5G for industry digitalization was highlighted, aiming to enhance productivity through ubiquitous 10-gigabit speeds, microsecond-level latency, and agile, reliable data storage.
Yang concluded by reiterating Huawei's dedication to working jointly with industries in Europe to promote digital transformation and contribute to a shared digital future.
Additionally, Jaqueline Shi, President of Huawei Cloud Global Marketing and Sales Service, delivered a keynote speech titled "Accelerating Intelligence with Huawei Cloud Through Everything as a Service."
