Korangi Association Honors Late Business Leader SM Munir Bhaijaan’s Legacy

KARACHI: The Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI) paid tribute to its former Patron-in-Chief and Founder, SM Munir Bhaijaan, during a ceremony commemorating his anniversary. The event, attended by KATI President Junaid Naqi, Deputy Patron-in-Chief Zubair Chhaya, members of the Majlis-e-Amila, and other prominent business figures, highlighted the enduring influence of Bhaijaan's vision on the organization and the broader business community.

According to North Karachi Association of Trade and Industry, President Junaid Naqi emphasized that the success of KATI is attributed to the relentless efforts of SM Munir, who worked tirelessly for Pakistan's economic stability. Naqi remarked on Bhaijaan's dedication to prioritizing the interests of the business community and his encouragement to others to assist those in need and elevate Pakistan's economic standing. He described Bhaijaan as a once-in-a-century leader who inspired unity within the business community to transform the nation's destiny.

Deputy Patron-in-Chief Zubair Chhaya reflected on his long association with SM Munir since 1988, noting the profound impact of Bhaijaan's mentorship and his unwavering commitment to KATI and the business community, even in his final hours. Chhaya expressed that the void left by Bhaijaan's passing is irreplaceable, yet affirmed their commitment to continuing his mission. SM Munir Bhaijaan's legacy is now carried forward by his son, SM Tanveer, who has continued to unite the business community in line with his father's vision.
