Qazi Anwar Hussain, noted writer and creator of Bangladesh’s popular spy thriller series “Masud Rana” and the founder of an influential publishing house died on January 19, 2022 at 85 years of age. Better known to readers as QaziDa, he singlehandedly popularised the mystery-thriller genre in Bengali literature from the 1960s.
