Foodpanda Issues Learner’s Licenses to Over 300 Delivery Riders in Karachi

Islamabad, In a significant move to enhance road safety and ensure legal compliance, foodpanda, Pakistan's premier online delivery platform, has facilitated the issuance of learner's licenses to more than 300 delivery riders in Karachi. This initiative, part of the company's commitment to the safety and well-being of its employees, was conducted in collaboration with Driving License Sindh (DLS).

According to Foodpanda, the partnership with DLS is aimed at equipping the riders with the necessary documentation and training to operate safely on the roads. Muntaqa Peracha, Managing Director of foodpanda, highlighted the company’s dedication to rider safety, expressing pleasure in collaborating with DLS to empower the riders to provide excellent service while ensuring their safety.

The initiative has been praised by local authorities, with Inspector Syed Aun Ali Shah from the Driving License Authority Sindh acknowledging foodpanda's proactive approach to ensuring the safety and legal compliance of their riders. He commended the initiative for promoting responsible driving practices among food delivery professionals and expressed eagerness for future collaborations.
