Meezan Bank and Visa Strengthen Partnership to Elevate Debit Card Offerings

Karachi: Meezan Bank, Pakistan's leading Islamic financial institution, has renewed and expanded its strategic alliance with Visa, a global leader in digital payments. This collaboration aims to enhance the bank's debit card portfolio and redefine the banking experience for customers nationwide.

The agreement was solidified with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding by Dr. Syed Amir Ali, Deputy CEO of Meezan Bank, and Leila Serhan, Visa's Group Country Manager for North Africa, Levant and Pakistan. The signing ceremony was attended by key executives from both organizations, including Mr. Irfan Siddiqui, Founding President and CEO of Meezan Bank.

Under this renewed partnership, Meezan Bank plans to introduce premium and lifestyle-oriented Visa debit card products. These products will provide exclusive benefits tailored to meet the financial needs of customers, offering enhanced digital banking services, global privileges, and seamless international payment capabilities.

The rollout of these initiatives will occur in phases, aimed at transforming customer interactions with digital payments and reinforcing Meezan Bank's leadership in digital Islamic banking in Pakistan.
