Mobilink Bank’s WIN Incubator Celebrates Graduation of 13 Women-Led Startups

Islamabad: Mobilink Bank, a leading digital microfinance institution in Pakistan, has announced the successful graduation of 13 women-led startups from its inaugural 'Women Inspirational Network (WIN) Incubator Program.' This initiative, aimed at equipping female entrepreneurs with vital skills and resources, culminated in a ceremony held in Islamabad on International Women's Day.

According to Mobilink Bank, the program focused on providing participants with essential financial literacy and digital tools to enhance their business operations, build resilience, and promote sustainable growth. The graduation event was attended by key stakeholders, industry leaders, businesswomen, partner organizations, and media representatives, all gathered to commend the efforts of these entrepreneurs and the bank's dedication to fostering financial inclusion.

During the event, Mobilink Bank recognized standout startups within the program. Ecobricks was awarded the Best Startup Award, receiving a prize of PKR 1 million. Recycle Bin and EcoGrow were each awarded PKR 500,000 as winners of the Innovation Challenge. These awards are intended to support the continued growth and success of these promising enterprises. Additionally, Mobilink Bank announced the launch of a second cohort for the incubator, aiming to further support women-led businesses.

Haaris Mahmood Chaudhary, President and CEO of Mobilink Bank, emphasized the bank's commitment to empowering women as drivers of economic growth. He highlighted the incubator's role in providing not just tools and opportunities but also paving the way for lasting change and economic inclusion.

Her Excellency Amna Baloch, Foreign Secretary of Pakistan, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended as the chief guest and expressed her optimism for the future of the program. She praised the inaugural cohort's success and the inspiring stories of its participants, expressing anticipation for the next group of entrepreneurs.
