NBP Forms Strategic Partnership with TouchPoint to Enhance ATM Network

Karachi, The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has entered into a strategic partnership with TouchPoint, a prominent provider of self-service solutions, to enhance and expand the capabilities of over 1,200 Diebold Nixdorf ATMs across its nationwide branches. This collaboration aims to improve the efficiency and accessibility of banking services for NBP customers throughout Pakistan.

According to National Bank of Pakistan, the partnership was formalized during a signing ceremony at NBP's Head Office in Karachi. The event was attended by key figures from NBP, including Acting Chief Digital Officer Mr. Sohail Malik and Chief Information Officer Mr. Amin Manji. Representatives from Diebold Nixdorf, including Vice President of ME and Retail MEA, Mr. Habib Hanna, and Area Manager Mr. Osama Awad, also participated. TouchPoint was represented by CEO Mr. Tabish Salah and Executive Director Mr. Haider Wahab.

The agreement marks a significant step in NBP’s ongoing efforts to modernize and enhance its banking infrastructure. The discussions at the event focused on the future of self-service solutions in the Pakistani banking sector and the expected benefits of this partnership, such as greater convenience and improved service delivery for customers.

NBP, which operates an extensive network of more than 1,500 branches across Pakistan and maintains a global presence, views this partnership as crucial to maintaining its competitive edge in the financial services industry.
