Power Outages Scheduled Across Multiple Regions for Maintenance Work

Faisalabad, Residents in several areas will experience power outages due to necessary repair and maintenance activities at multiple grid stations, as per the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO). Scheduled interruptions will affect various locations from May 16 to May 17, as teams work on electrical lines and grid station infrastructure.

According to Faisalabad Electric Supply Company, the extensive maintenance work will include the repair and replacement of electrical lines and components at several key grid stations. For example, the Rahmat Town feed from the 132 KV University grid station will be suspended on May 16 from 7 AM to 10 PM. Similarly, numerous other feeds across different stations will experience temporary shutdowns during specified times, impacting both residential and commercial areas.

The affected feeds include those from the 132 KV Scarp Colony Grid Station, Lalian Grid Station, Jaranwala Grid Station, Chiniot Grid Station, and many others throughout the region. Specific areas such as Gulab, S2, Chani Rehan, Manzoor Park, and Wahala will see interruptions in service as crews undertake the necessary upgrades and repairs.

FESCO has advised residents and businesses in the affected areas to prepare for the scheduled downtime and assures that these interruptions are crucial for enhancing the reliability and safety of the power supply system. The maintenance is part of FESCO's ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure and service quality across its network.
