RTO Rawalpindi Recognizes First Traders Under ‘Tajir Dost Scheme’

Rawalpindi, The Regional Tax Office (RTO) in Rawalpindi celebrated the initial success of the Federal Board of Revenue's (FBR) 'Tajir Dost Scheme,' which aims to enhance tax compliance and help formalize the economy. An event was held to honor the first four traders who registered under the scheme, marking a key advancement in the initiative.

According to Zameen.Com, Ms. Tehmina Aamer, Chief Commissioner of Inland Revenue, officiated the ceremony. She awarded the pioneering traders with registration certificates, acknowledging them as role models for tax compliance in the community. The Chief Commissioner also commended the efforts of the District Tax Officers for their role in the effective implementation of the scheme. This initiative underscores the growing partnership between the government and the business sector to cultivate a more transparent and accountable economic environment in Rawalpindi.
