TDAP to Showcase Pakistani Textiles at Texworld Exhibition in USA

Karachi, The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) is set to participate in the "Home Textile Sourcing and Apparel Sourcing Tax World" exhibition in the United States, scheduled for July 16 to 18, 2024. The event will take place at the Javits Center in New York City and will feature a wide range of textile products, from finished apparel to eco-friendly fabrics.

According to Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, the summer edition of Texworld – Apparel Sourcing/Home Textile Sourcing is a major event on the East Coast that attracts global suppliers and buyers in the textile sector. The exhibition is known for its comprehensive showcase spanning various textile categories, including luxurious silks and rugged denims. TDAP is facilitating Pakistani exporters by providing subsidized stalls, enhancing their ability to reach international markets and display a diverse array of products, from fashion accessories to home linens.

The initiative is part of TDAP's ongoing efforts to boost textile exports and will feature Pakistani exhibitors who have previously participated, such as Fazal Cloth, Kohinoor Mills, Mahmood Textile, and Sarena Textile Industries in Texworld; Creative Apparel, Katarya Impex, Mavic Sports, Multan Fabrics, and WE Apparel in Apparel Sourcing; and Castle Industries in Home Textile Sourcing. The subsidized stall rates for participants are set at Rs. 1,170,000 for fabrics, apparel, and home textiles, with direct stands costing approximately Rs. PKR 1,992,001.

The 2023 summer edition of the exhibition saw over 300 exhibitors and 5,300 visitors, reflecting its status as a key international platform for networking and transactions in the textile industry.
