Currency Fluctuations Continue in Pakistan as Exchange Rates Show Slight Increases

Karachi, The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan released the latest foreign exchange rates, indicating a slight increase in the USD, EURO, and GBP against the Pakistani Rupee over the past week. The report also highlighted the exchange rates for other major currencies, including JPY, AED, and SR, reflecting a consistent trend of fluctuation in the local currency market.

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the interbank rate for the USD increased from 277.95 to 278.12 from April 9 to April 15, 2024. Similarly, the EURO rose from 298.84 to 293.99, and the GBP from 348.65 to 343.85 during the same period. The association's data showed modest changes in the buying and selling rates of these and other major currencies, suggesting ongoing volatility in the foreign exchange market.
