Karachi: The global consumer goods season commenced today as Ambiente and Paperworld Frankfurt 2026 opened at Messe Frankfurt, continuing through February 10. Recognized as a major international trade fair for consumer goods, the event gathers buyers, suppliers, and industry leaders worldwide, setting key trends for the year.
According to Messe Frankfurt, this year's edition is notable for the integration of Paperworld segments into Ambiente, adding momentum to the office supplies, stationery, paper, and creative goods sectors. Pakistani exhibitors, including Dollar Industries, benefit from direct access to international buyers interested in innovative and sustainable products.
Pakistan is represented by 12 exhibitors showcasing the country's consumer goods manufacturing capabilities. The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) supports six companies: Anaya Salt Craft, Darson / Grand Wazir Tableware, Selections, Atlas Sports, Pakistan Souvenirs, and Suffah Industries. They are joined by Tariq Glass, Sharp Edge Enterprises (Klassic Kitchen), Polyset Plastic, Minerals Route, Parus Plastic, and Dawood Corporation.
Muhammad Uzair, GM Marketing at Parus Plastic, remarked on the first day: "The exhibition provides a valuable opportunity to showcase Pakistani creativity and innovation to international buyers, and we look forward to building strong business connections." Muhammad Waqas Jaweed, Head of Commercial and Export at Polyset Industries, added that representing Pakistan on this global platform allows them to engage with industry leaders and explore new collaborations.
