Lahore: The ABL K2 Expedition 2024, organized by Allied Bank Limited, embarked from Lahore on July 16, 2024, on a mission not only to conquer the challenging peaks but also to raise awareness about climate change and environmental conservation. After reaching Skardu via Islamabad, the team initiated their ascent towards one of the world's most formidable mountains.

According to Allied Bank Limited announcement issued on 18 July 2024, the expedition team, following their arrival in Skardu on July 17, 2024, met with the local Army Commander to whom they presented a souvenir as a token of goodwill. The team is currently en route to Askhole by jeep, marking the next phase of their adventurous journey.
