Karachi: Ali Takesh has been appointed as the new Managing Director for Philip Morris Pakistan and Afghanistan, effective August 1, 2024. Takesh will be succeeding Roman Yazbeck, who has served in this role since January 2020 and will step down at the end of this month.
According to Philip Morris International, Ali Takesh brings extensive leadership experience from his previous role as Managing Director for Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. His tenure in Dubai, UAE, was marked by his adept handling of commercial strategies and market transitions, equipping him with the necessary skills to lead Philip Morris (Pakistan) Limited into a phase of enhanced growth and innovation.
Takesh expressed enthusiasm about his new position, noting the solid foundation laid by his predecessor and his plans to further enhance market presence and drive innovation.
