Sialkot, December 03, 2021 (PPI-OT):On December 02, 2021, The Ambassador of Belgium to Pakistan, H.E. Mr. Philippe Bronchain visited Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry to interact with the Business Community of Sialkot. The Diplomat was welcomed by Sheikh Zohaib Rafique, Senior Vice President and during the meeting, the Senior Vice President said that both Pakistan and Belgium should ensure dedicated efforts to further improve two-way trade under the light of GSP+ Status.

Mr. Zohaib further added that with the establishment of the Sialkot Industrial Zone, the Business Community of Sialkot was eager to have joint ventures with Belgian counterparts. He also mentioned that the Industry of Sialkot had keen interest to adopt the Belgian Technology that possessed considerable recognition in the region.

H.E. Mr. Philippe Bronchain, The Ambassador of Belgium to Pakistan while interacting with the participants of the meeting praised the achievements of the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry and said that both sides need to collaborate to enhance the Bi-lateral Trade. The Envoy added that Belgium considers Pakistan as the best contender for Technology Transfer and Joint Ventures.
