Karachi, Automechanika Istanbul, the world's leading automotive aftermarket trade fair, is set to take place from May 23 to May 26, 2024, at the TUYAP Fair and Congress Center in Istanbul, Turkey. As part of its initiative to bolster mobility exports, the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TADAP) is providing participants subsidized stall options in the Pakistan Pavilion.

According to a news release by TADAP, the organization's participation in Automechanika Istanbul aims to highlight various sectors, including parts and components, car care and reconditioning, electronics, alternative drive systems, body and paintwork, and diagnostics and repair. TDAP's efforts align with the broader goal of showcasing mobility as a service, and autonomous driving trends and technologies. The previous year's event, Automechanika Istanbul 2023, saw more than 1,437 exhibitors from 41 countries display their latest products and trends, attracting over 58,024 visitors from 141 countries. The 2023 edition also included ten exhibitors from Pakistan: Ahmad Traders, Darson Industries, Ghauri Tyre, Infinity Engineering, Matchless Engineering, Royal Tech, Thal Engineering, The General Tires, Thermosole, and Pakistan Accumulators. TADAP is offering stalls at a significantly reduced price of Rs 63,500, despite the direct cost being around Rs 15 lakh. Potential participants should note that the deadline for stall applications is 8 November 2023.
