Burglary Suspects Arrested in Islamabad, Cash Recovered

Islamabad: In an ongoing effort to combat crime in the federal capital, the Islamabad Police have arrested two women accused of multiple burglaries. Acting on the directives of Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the Karachi Company police team detained Sonia and Sameera Bibi, recovering stolen cash from their possession.

The arrests are part of broader operations aimed at curbing criminal activities across Islamabad. During the initial investigation, the suspects reportedly confessed to their involvement in house thefts.

Senior Superintendent of Police Operations, Capt. (retd) Qazi Ali Raza, emphasized that the police remain committed to safeguarding citizens' lives and property. He stated that stringent measures will continue against those who commit theft and other crimes.

SSP Raza also encouraged residents to assist law enforcement by reporting any suspicious activities to local authorities or through the emergency helpline “Pucar-15.”
