Business Leaders Unite in Support of Pakistan After Indian Missile Strikes

KARACHI: In a unified show of support, the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) and various industrial associations have expressed unwavering solidarity with the Pakistani government and armed forces following recent missile strikes by India targeting civilian areas.

At a press conference held at the KCCI, business leaders condemned the attacks, which resulted in civilian casualties and damage to public infrastructure. They emphasized that these actions violate international law and aim to destabilize regional peace.

Chairman of the Businessmen Group (BMG), Zubair Motiwala, affirmed Pakistan's commitment to peace but warned against mistaking it for weakness. He declared full support for the armed forces, acknowledging their professionalism and readiness to defend the nation.

Motiwala called for national unity, urging the business community across Pakistan to set aside differences and stand together. He highlighted the importance of economic stability for national security and assured the government of the business community's willingness to contribute to defense efforts.

President of KCCI, Muhammad Jawed Bilwani, appealed to the international community for intervention to de-escalate tensions. He stressed the need for global powers to hold India accountable for targeting civilians, a breach of international conflict norms.

Bilwani praised the resilience of those affected by the strikes and the strategic restraint of Pakistan's armed forces. He emphasized that unity and resolve would counter any attempts to destabilize the country.

The business leaders concluded with a declaration of loyalty to Pakistan's sovereignty, trust in the armed forces, and a call for peace and justice. They reiterated their commitment to economic resilience and national solidarity in the face of aggression.
