CBD Punjab Prioritizes Completion of Walton Road Upgradation in Lahore

Lahore: The Central Business District (CBD) Punjab is intensifying efforts to complete the Walton Road Upgradation Project, marking it as a top priority, as affirmed by CBD Punjab CEO Imran Amin on July 24.

According to Zameen.Com, CEO Imran Amin chaired a review meeting focused on the progress of the road project, which is critical for improving Lahore's road infrastructure. Amin emphasized the organization's commitment to enhancing the city's infrastructure to better serve its residents and support Lahore's growth. He noted the proactive measures taken during the monsoon season as a testament to their commitment to community well-being and assured that the project would be completed promptly and to the highest standards.

Amin also called for an increase in workforce and machinery to meet the deadlines established by Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz. During the meeting, it was reported that the Major Ishaq Shaheed Flyover, a vital element of the Walton Road project, is now 85% complete. The removal of shuttering on the flyover is scheduled to begin soon, which is expected to significantly improve traffic flow in the area.

Additionally, the construction of the water-bound layer on Walton Road is currently underway, and disposal stations are expected to become operational shortly, further facilitating the project's swift completion.
