CDA Concludes Auction with PKR 4.2 Billion in Final Day Commercial Plot Sales

Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has successfully completed its three-day auction of 13 prime commercial plots, generating a total revenue of PKR 16.641 billion. As per reports, the auction ended on October 4, with the final day alone contributing PKR 4.206 billion from the sale of seven commercial plots.

According to Zameen.Com, the auction, held at the Gandhara Citizen Club, attracted significant investor interest. CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa visited the site on the last day, assuring investors of transparency in the bidding process and emphasizing that the proceeds from the auction would be directed toward enhancing urban infrastructure and facilities for both citizens and investors.

Randhawa further confirmed that the winning bids would be submitted to the CDA Board for formal review and approval. He highlighted the CDA’s commitment to reinvesting auction proceeds into city development projects, with a particular focus on infrastructure, green spaces, and civic amenities. The auction is expected to further boost Islamabad’s real estate sector and contribute to the city’s ongoing growth and urban development.
