CDA Enhances Oversight with Revamped Inspection Committee

Islamabad, In an effort to bolster transparency and ensure the integrity of housing schemes, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) in Islamabad has announced the reconstitution of its Inspection Committee. This step, as highlighted in a recent news article from March 26, marks a significant move towards enhancing the legitimacy of housing projects within the capital city.

According to Zameen.Com, the decision was made during a CDA Board meeting led by the Planning and Development Member. The newly formed committee, chaired by the CDA Member Engineering, includes five officials from diverse departments within the CDA, such as Building Control, Finance, Land Survey, and Town Planning.

The committee's mandate is to conduct comprehensive physical verifications of housing schemes across Islamabad, with instructions to finalize their assessments within one month. This directive underscores the CDA's commitment to ensuring that housing projects operate within the framework of transparency, efficiency, and regulatory compliance, ultimately safeguarding the interests of the city's residents.
