Islamabad, The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has successfully recovered over 3 kanal of land in Sangjani from illegal occupants. This operation, part of an ongoing effort to combat encroachments, involved the demolition of unauthorized constructions on government property.
According to Zameen.Com, The anti-encroachment drive was conducted under the leadership of Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa and involved CDA’s Enforcement Directorate, along with revenue staff and other departments. The operation focused on removing illegal structures that had been built on the reclaimed land. Chairman Randhawa stressed the importance of preserving public property and preventing encroachments that could hinder the city's development.
The retrieval of this land is a key achievement in the CDA’s mission to uphold the integrity of urban planning and enforce the rule of law in Islamabad. This move aligns with broader efforts to ensure responsible use of land and prevent illegal constructions that can adversely affect the capital's planned growth and infrastructure.
