Karachi: Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDC) and the National Depository Center of the Republic of Azerbaijan (NDC) have formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in central depository services and capital markets. The agreement was finalized during a virtual ceremony on July 15, 2026, marking a significant step towards strengthening bilateral ties in these sectors.

According to Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited, the MoU was signed by CDC's Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Badiuddin Akber, and NDC's Chairman of the Executive Board, Mr. Elchin Alizade. The agreement aims to establish a framework for collaborative efforts, including the exchange of knowledge, technical know-how, and joint projects. This partnership underscores the commitment of both organizations to foster innovation, support market development, and promote stronger relations between the capital markets of Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
