Karachi: CDC Share Registrar Services Limited has launched a new electronic voting system using WhatsApp, marking a significant advancement in digital voting technology. The service aims to simplify the voting process for shareholders, increasing accessibility and participation while ensuring security and transparency.
According to a statement by Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited, this new feature integrates WhatsApp with the existing E-voting platform. This development is part of CDCSR's ongoing efforts to introduce technology-based services, following their 2017 launch of a web-based voting system.
