Cherat Packaging Ltd. Reports 82.3% Profit Increase Amid Revenue Growth

Karachi: Cherat Packaging Ltd. (CPPL) announced significant financial growth during its FY26 analyst briefing, highlighting an 82.3% increase in profitability to PkR651 million, driven by enhanced gross margins and reduced finance costs. The company also reported a substantial rise in revenue, reaching PkR15.1 billion, marking a 16% year-over-year growth.

According to AKD Securities Limited, the company's revenue growth was primarily fueled by a 26.7% increase in flexible packaging and a 2.1% rise in bags manufacturing. These sectors contributed 62% and 38% of the total revenue, respectively, leading to improved gross margins of 12.5% from the previous year's 7.8%. CPPL's earnings per share also saw a notable increase, reaching PkR13.3 compared to PkR7.3 in the same period last year.
