Chief Minister Commends LDA’s Digital Innovations in Lahore

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has lauded the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) for its new digital map approval system, marking a significant step forward in modernizing governmental services in the region.

According to Zameen.Com, the Chief Minister praised the successful implementation of the Dastak project, an initiative designed to streamline government interactions and curb corruption. The LDA’s innovative online system facilitates residential building map approvals, enabling citizens to submit and manage their applications and payments through the LDA mobile app or their website. This system allows for the electronic handling of requests, uploading of documents, processing of approvals, and corrections, thereby significantly reducing the need for physical document handling and in-person visits.

Chief Minister Nawaz emphasized the broader goal of these technological advancements is to enhance service delivery, promote transparency, and eliminate the traditional reliance on intermediaries, thereby fostering a more efficient and corruption-free environment.
