Currency Exchange Rates Experience Slight Changes Across Markets

Karachi: Exchange rates for major currencies against the Pakistani Rupee saw minor fluctuations recently, with slight adjustments noted in both buying and selling rates. These changes are being closely observed by stakeholders in the financial and trade sectors.

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the buying and selling rates for the US Dollar were recorded at PKR 278.23 and PKR 279.07, respectively. Meanwhile, the Euro was exchanged at PKR 318.85 for buying and PKR 321.93 for selling. The British Pound saw rates of PKR 371.84 for buying and PKR 375.34 for selling. The Japanese Yen was reported at PKR 1.75 for buying and PKR 1.81 for selling. The exchange rate for the UAE Dirham was PKR 75.68 for buying and PKR 76.27 for selling, while the Saudi Riyal stood at PKR 73.99 for buying and PKR 74.52 for selling. The interbank rates were slightly lower, with buying and selling rates at PKR 277.22 and PKR 277.42, respectively.
