Currency Exchange Rates Fluctuate Amid Economic Uncertainty

Karachi: The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan reported fluctuations in currency exchange rates on October 24, 2025, reflecting ongoing economic uncertainty. According to the association, the US Dollar was recorded at a buying rate of 281.57 and a selling rate of 282.05.

The Euro saw buying and selling rates of 326.47 and 330.07, respectively, while the British Pound stood at 375.08 for buying and 379.02 for selling. The Japanese Yen's rates were noted at 1.82 for buying and 1.88 for selling.

In the Middle Eastern currencies, the United Arab Emirates Dirham was listed at 76.80 for buying and 77.58 for selling, whereas the Saudi Riyal was at 75.07 and 75.66 for buying and selling, respectively.

The interbank exchange rates for the US Dollar were slightly lower, with buying at 281.01 and selling at 281.21, indicating a slight difference from the rates offered by exchange companies.

These fluctuations come amid broader economic challenges faced by the country, impacting both domestic and international financial transactions.
