Currency Exchange Rates Fluctuate in Pakistan; Minor Changes Noted Across Major Currencies

Islamabad, Exchange rates for major currencies like the US dollar, Euro, and British pound showed minor fluctuations on Friday compared to the previous day's rates, with slight adjustments in buying and selling prices noted across the board.

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the rates for buying and selling the US dollar on April 19 were 277.11 and 279.68 respectively, while on April 20, they adjusted slightly to 277.08 and 279.60. Similarly, the Euro saw a slight increase in its buying rate from 292.74 to 293.00, and the selling rate moved from 295.60 to 295.71. The British pound decreased in both buying and selling rates, moving from 342.16 and 345.38 to 340.76 and 343.76 respectively.

Other currencies such as the Japanese yen, UAE dirham, and Saudi riyal also showed minimal changes in their exchange rates. Notably, the interbank rates, which were at 278.31 for buying and 278.51 for selling on April 19, were not listed for April 20.
