Currency Exchange Rates Fluctuate in Pakistan’s Open Market

Karachi: The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP) reported the closing exchange rates in the open market, reflecting varied buying and selling values for several major currencies. According to the data released on July 23, 2025, the US Dollar was bought at 286.79 and sold at 288.30.

The Euro recorded a buying rate of 335.96 and a selling rate of 337.41. The British Pound was bought at 387.41 and sold at 389.09. Meanwhile, the Japanese Yen showed a buying rate of 1.92 and a selling rate of 1.97.

In the Middle Eastern currency sector, the United Arab Emirates Dirham had a buying rate of 78.17 and a selling rate of 78.50. The Saudi Riyal was bought at 76.42 and sold at 76.80.

These rates were sourced from the State Bank of Pakistan, providing a snapshot of the currency exchange dynamics in the country's open market.
