Currency Exchange Rates Fluctuate Slightly Across Major Currencies in Pakistan

Karachi: The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan released the latest currency exchange rates, showing minor fluctuations across major currencies over the past two days. The U.S. dollar, euro, British pound, Japanese yen, UAE dirham, and Saudi riyal all saw slight changes in both buying and selling rates in the interbank and open markets.

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, “On September 24, the buying rate for the U.S. dollar was recorded at 279.06 with a selling rate of 280.45, which slightly decreased the next day to a buying rate of 278.86 and a selling rate of 280.33.” Similarly, the euro rose from a buying rate of 307.54 to 309.42, and the selling rate increased from 310.39 to 312.23 from one day to the next.

Other currencies, including the British pound, Japanese yen, UAE dirham, and Saudi riyal, exhibited comparable mild variations. The interbank rate for the U.S. dollar remained fairly stable, moving from 277.80/278.00 to 277.85/278.05 over the two days. These minor adjustments reflect typical market dynamics influenced by international financial activities and domestic economic conditions.
