Currency Exchange Rates Show Marginal Fluctuations for Major Currencies

Karachi: Currency exchange rates for major currencies showed marginal fluctuations in the latest figures released. The US dollar, euro, British pound, Japanese yen, United Arab Emirates dirham, and Saudi riyal all exhibited slight changes against the Pakistani rupee.

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan: The US dollar was bought at 279.31 PKR and sold at 280.13 PKR. The euro was traded at a buying rate of 321.28 PKR and a selling rate of 324.42 PKR. The British pound showed a buying rate of 368.61 PKR and a selling rate of 372.13 PKR. The Japanese yen was priced at 1.73 PKR for buying and 1.80 PKR for selling. The UAE dirham had a buying rate of 75.97 PKR and a selling rate of 76.86 PKR, while the Saudi riyal was bought at 74.27 PKR and sold at 75.05 PKR. The interbank rates were noted at 279.07 PKR for buying and 279.27 PKR for selling of the US dollar.

The data reflects the current trading environment and provides insight into the slight variances in the currency market, as reported by the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan.
