Currency Exchange Rates Show Minor Fluctuations Over Two-Day Period

Karachi: Currency exchange rates for the U.S. dollar, euro, British pound, Japanese yen, UAE dirham, and Saudi riyal experienced slight changes between December 28 and December 30.

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, reported that the buying rate for the U.S. dollar increased marginally from 277.71 to 277.89, while the selling rate rose slightly from 279.50 to 279.54. The euro showed a small increase in its buying rate from 289.07 to 289.20, and the selling rate went up from 291.23 to 291.50. Meanwhile, the British pound's buying rate decreased slightly from 349.01 to 349.00, with a minor rise in the selling rate from 351.59 to 351.70.

The Japanese yen's buying rate decreased from 1.75 to 1.74, while the selling rate fell from 1.80 to 1.79. The UAE dirham's buying rate saw a negligible increase from 75.59 to 75.60, and the selling rate rose from 76.05 to 76.10. The Saudi riyal's buying rate dropped slightly from 73.89 to 73.88, while the selling rate remained steady at 74.35. The interbank rates for the U.S. dollar were reported at 278.48 for buying and 278.68 for selling on December 30.
