Currency Exchange Rates Show Slight Decline in USD and Euro

Karachi: Currency exchange rates for various foreign currencies, including the US Dollar and Euro, experienced a slight decline. The data, spanning from December 2 to December 3, 2024, reflects minor fluctuations in the buying and selling rates of these currencies in Pakistan.

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the US Dollar's buying rate decreased from 277.24 to 277.17, while the selling rate fell from 278.98 to 278.87. The Euro saw a reduction in its buying rate from 290.43 to 290.26 and its selling rate from 292.69 to 292.44. The British Pound and Japanese Yen also experienced slight shifts, with the Pound's buying rate dropping from 350.52 to 350.05 and its selling rate from 353.23 to 352.54. The Yen's rates remained stable.

The exchange rates for the United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) and Saudi Riyal (SR) showed minimal changes, with the AED's buying rate slightly increasing from 75.35 to 75.38, while the selling rate remained at 76.00. The SR buying rate increased from 73.61 to 73.66, with the selling rate marginally decreasing from 74.20 to 74.19. Interbank rates for the US Dollar also showed a minor decrease from 277.97 to 277.87 on the buying side and from 278.17 to 278.07 on the selling side.
