Currency Exchange Rates Show Slight Fluctuations in Pakistan

Karachi: The currency exchange rates in Pakistan experienced slight fluctuations from November 19 to November 20, 2024, with minor increases observed in several currencies. The changes reflect the ongoing volatility in currency valuations and their impact on the exchange market.

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the buying rate for the US Dollar increased from 277.04 to 277.13, while the selling rate saw a rise from 278.88 to 278.99. The Euro's buying rate moved from 291.10 to 291.45, and the selling rate increased from 293.89 to 294.28. The British Pound witnessed a change in its buying rate from 348.86 to 349.97, with the selling rate going from 352.19 to 353.30.

The Japanese Yen buying rate slightly decreased from 1.77 to 1.76, though its selling rate remained unchanged at 1.82. The United Arab Emirates Dirham saw its buying rate increase from 75.27 to 75.32, and the selling rate went up from 75.97 to 76.04. The Saudi Riyal's buying rate shifted from 73.52 to 73.56, with the selling rate increasing from 74.16 to 74.24.

The interbank rates also exhibited slight increments, with the buying rate moving from 277.95 to 278.04 and the selling rate from 278.15 to 278.24. These changes illustrate the dynamic nature of currency exchange and its implications for financial activities in the region.
