Currency Exchange Rates Show Slight Variations Across Major Currencies

Karachi: The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan released data indicating slight fluctuations in currency exchange rates for major currencies. The U.S. dollar, euro, British pound, Japanese yen, UAE dirham, and Saudi riyal all showed marginal differences between buying and selling rates as of April 28, 2026.

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the U.S. dollar was traded at a buying rate of 279.27 and a selling rate of 280.09. The euro's exchange rates were recorded at 326.53 for buying and 329.79 for selling. The British pound was exchanged at 376.93 for buying and 380.63 for selling.

The data further revealed that the Japanese yen had a buying rate of 1.74 and a selling rate of 1.79. The UAE dirham and Saudi riyal were also part of the exchange rate briefing, with the dirham trading at 76.07 for buying and 76.87 for selling, while the riyal was exchanged at 74.35 for buying and 75.10 for selling. The interbank rate for the U.S. dollar was reported at 278.81 for buying and 279.01 for selling.

These figures provide insight into the current foreign exchange market trends, reflecting minor changes in currency values.
