Currency Exchange Rates Show Slight Variations in Interbank and Open Markets

Karachi: Currency exchange rates for major foreign currencies against the Pakistani Rupee exhibited slight variations across both interbank and open markets, as noted on September 3, 2026. The rates indicated modest fluctuations in values for the US Dollar, Euro, British Pound, Japanese Yen, United Arab Emirates Dirham, and Saudi Riyal.

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the US Dollar was traded between 278.26 and 279.15 in the open market, while the interbank rates were observed at 277.42 to 277.62. The Euro saw a trading range of 321.67 to 324.49, whereas the British Pound was valued between 374.49 and 377.80. The Japanese Yen exchanged between 1.75 and 1.81, and the United Arab Emirates Dirham was recorded at 75.68 to 76.28. The Saudi Riyal was noted at 73.97 to 74.53 in the open market. These figures provide a snapshot of the current currency trading environment, reflecting minor adjustments in the foreign exchange landscape.
