Islamabad: The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan reported minor fluctuations in the currency exchange rates over a span of two days, with slight variations noted between the buying and selling prices of major currencies including the USD, EURO, GBP, JPY, AED, and SR.
According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, on the 18th of September, the buying and selling rates for the USD were observed at 279.48 and 280.70 respectively, while the EURO traded at 308.82 and 311.71. The GBP showed a buying rate of 366.75 and a selling rate of 370.24. Japanese Yen (JPY) rates were also noted at 1.93 for buying and 1.98 for selling. The UAE Dirham (AED) and Saudi Riyal (SR) maintained their positions with buying rates at 75.55 and 73.84, and selling rates at 76.30 and 74.56 respectively. The interbank rates were stable at 278.13 buying and 278.33 selling.
The next day, on the 19th of September, the USD rates slightly adjusted to a buying rate of 279.41 while maintaining the selling rate at 280.70. The EURO saw a marginal increase in its buying and selling rates to 308.92 and 311.92. The GBP rates rose to 368.09 for buying and 371.73 for selling. The JPY rates slightly decreased to 1.92 for buying and 1.97 for selling. AED and SR rates remained consistent with the previous day’s trading, while the interbank rates saw a slight decrease to 277.91 for buying and 278.11 for selling.
