Karachi: The latest figures released by the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan indicate slight fluctuations in the buying and selling rates of major currencies in the local forex market for October 24 and 25, 2024. The US dollar, Euro, and British Pound showed minor changes in their trading prices over the two days.
According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, on October 24, the US dollar was bought at 276.70 and sold at 278.79, while on October 25, it was slightly higher at 276.75 for buying and 278.62 for selling. Similarly, the Euro was bought at 297.45 and sold at 300.20 on the first day, with a slight increase to 298.09 for buying and 300.79 for selling on the following day.
The British Pound’s rates were relatively stable with buying at 357.29 and selling at 360.67 on October 24, and buying at 357.17 and selling at 360.45 on October 25. The Japanese Yen and the currencies of the UAE (AED) and Saudi Arabia (SR) remained stable with minimal changes.
The interbank rate for the US dollar also showed minor adjustments, moving from 277.84 for buying and 278.04 for selling on October 24, to 277.64 for buying and 277.84 for selling the next day.
These small movements in the forex rates reflect ongoing adjustments in the market, influenced by a combination of domestic and international economic factors.
