Currency Rates Show Minor Fluctuations Over Weekend in Pakistan

Karachi, Currency exchange rates experienced slight changes over the weekend As per latest figures released by the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan. The data reveals minor adjustments in the buying and selling rates for major currencies including the USD, EURO, GBP, JPY, AED, and SR.

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the USD buying rate on Friday, 20th April was 277.08, which saw a slight increase to 277.16 by Sunday, 22nd April. Similarly, the selling rate adjusted from 279.60 to 279.80 over the weekend. The EURO and GBP also showed small increments in both buying and selling rates, indicating a stable yet responsive currency market.

The Japanese Yen (JPY) and Arab Emirates Dirham (AED), along with the Saudi Riyal (SR), maintained a relatively stable trajectory with very marginal changes. Notably, the interbank rate for USD was also listed for the first time this weekend, posting a buying rate of 278.33 and a selling rate of 278.53.
