Exchange Rates Experience Marginal Shift in Pakistan

KARACHI: Exchange rates in Pakistan experienced a slight change as the Pakistani Rupee showed minimal fluctuations against major currencies on July 6, 2026. The interbank rate for the US Dollar was reported at Rs. 278.11 for buying and Rs. 278.31 for selling.

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the US Dollar was traded at Rs. 278.75 for buying and Rs. 279.38 for selling in the open market. The Euro stood at Rs. 318.68 for buying and Rs. 321.88 for selling. The British Pound was valued at Rs. 372.18 for buying and Rs. 375.57 for selling. Meanwhile, the Japanese Yen was at Rs. 1.71 for buying and Rs. 1.78 for selling.

In the regional currency market, the United Arab Emirates Dirham was traded at Rs. 75.99 for buying and Rs. 76.57 for selling, while the Saudi Riyal was quoted at Rs. 74.35 for buying and Rs. 74.87 for selling. These rates reflect the ongoing economic conditions and demand for foreign exchange in the country.
