Exchange Rates Experience Minor Fluctuations in Interbank and Foreign Exchange Markets

Karachi: Minor adjustments were noted in the buying and selling rates of major currencies in the interbank and foreign exchange markets over the past two days. The U.S. dollar, Euro, British pound, and other currencies showed slight differences in their trading values, as per the latest data.

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, on September 27, the U.S. dollar was bought at 278.26 and sold at 280.15, while on September 28, the buying rate slightly decreased to 278.22 with the selling rate also seeing a minor drop to 279.97. Similar patterns were observed with the Euro and British pound, indicating a trend of minimal volatility in currency exchange rates during this period. Notably, the interbank rates for the U.S. dollar were reported only on September 27, with buying and selling rates at 277.64 and 277.84 respectively, with no rates provided for the following day.
