Karachi: Exchange rates for major currencies in Pakistan showed slight variations in the open market, impacting buying and selling trends, according to the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan (ECAP).
According to ECAP, the U.S. dollar was bought at 278.25 and sold at 279.18. The euro saw buying and selling rates at 322.99 and 325.79, respectively. Meanwhile, the British pound was bought at 377.55 and sold at 380.81. The Japanese yen had buying and selling rates of 1.73 and 1.79, respectively.
The rates for the UAE dirham were 75.60 for buying and 76.26 for selling, while the Saudi riyal was bought at 73.88 and sold at 74.46. These rates reflect the market conditions as reported on August 25, 2026.
