Karachi: Exchange rates of major currencies in Pakistan, including the US Dollar, Euro, and British Pound, exhibited slight fluctuations on consecutive days, as per data released by the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan.
According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, on October 2, the buying and selling rates for the US Dollar were recorded at 278.33 and 279.88 respectively, with similar marginal shifts noted in rates for the Euro and British Pound. The Euro was bought at 305.48 and sold at 308.35, while the Pound was purchased at 366.77 and sold at 370.25. Minor variations were also observed in other currencies such as the Japanese Yen, UAE Dirham, and Saudi Riyal over the period.
The following day, October 3, the rates showed a continuation of this trend, with the US Dollar buying and selling prices remaining virtually unchanged at 278.33 and 279.86. However, both the Euro and the Pound saw slight reductions in their buying rates, closing at 304.92 and 363.72 respectively, and in their selling rates at 307.72 and 367.16. The interbank rates for the US Dollar on both days were relatively stable at 277.64 and 277.74 for buying and 277.84 and 277.94 for selling.
