Exchange Rates in Pakistan Show Stability Across Major Currencies

KARACHI: The latest figures from Pakistan's currency exchange market indicate a relatively stable trading environment for major foreign currencies against the Pakistani rupee. In the interbank market, the U.S. dollar traded at a buying rate of 277.52 and a selling rate of 277.72. This reflects a minor fluctuation compared to earlier figures.

According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the euro was observed trading at a buying rate of 322.99 and a selling rate of 325.79. Meanwhile, the British pound was exchanged at buying and selling rates of 377.55 and 380.81, respectively. The Japanese yen showed minimal movement, with buying and selling rates recorded at 1.73 and 1.79.

The report further detailed the trading figures for other key currencies in the market. The United Arab Emirates dirham saw a buying rate of 75.60 and a selling rate of 76.26. The Saudi riyal was noted at 73.88 for buying and 74.46 for selling. These figures suggest a period of stability for the Pakistani rupee against these currencies, with the market experiencing only minor fluctuations.
