Karachi: The latest currency exchange rates in Pakistan have shown a mixed pattern, with some currencies appreciating while others experienced a decline. The data reflects the ongoing fluctuations in the currency market, impacting both individual and corporate stakeholders engaged in international transactions.
According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the US dollar was bought at 278.77 and sold at 279.82. Meanwhile, the Euro was seen at 318.88 for buying and 321.77 for selling. Similarly, the British Pound was bought at 373.10 and sold at 376.72. The Japanese Yen, a currency often tracked for its volatility, saw a buying rate of 1.71 and a selling rate of 1.77.
In the Middle Eastern market, the United Arab Emirates Dirham stood at 76.34 for buying and 76.94 for selling, while the Saudi Riyal recorded buying and selling rates of 74.69 and 75.24, respectively. The interbank rates for the US dollar were slightly lower, with buying at 277.87 and selling at 278.07.
