Karachi: The latest currency exchange rates issued by the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan reveal modest fluctuations in major currencies over recent days, with the US dollar, Euro, and British pound showing slight increases in both buying and selling prices.
According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, as of November 4, 2024, the US dollar was bought and sold at 276.82 and 278.71 respectively, showing a minor increase from the rates on November 2, which were 276.66 and 278.62. Similarly, the Euro also saw an increase from 298.58 buying and 301.41 selling on November 2, to 300.45 and 303.22 on November 4. The British pound rose from 356.38 and 359.64 to 357.66 and 360.93 in the buying and selling rates, respectively.
The rates for the Japanese yen remained stable at buying 1.80 and selling 1.85, matching the selling price from November 2 but showing a slight increase in the buying rate from 1.79. The United Arab Emirates dirham and the Saudi Riyal had marginal variations in their rates over the period.
The Association also noted interbank rates for the US dollar on November 4, which were recorded at 277.79 buying and 277.99 selling, providing a benchmark for bank-to-bank transactions.
