Karachi: Exchange rates for major currencies demonstrated stability in Pakistan's currency market today, reflecting a consistent trend in the financial landscape. The exchange rates for the US dollar, euro, British pound, Japanese yen, UAE dirham, and Saudi riyal showed minor fluctuations with no significant deviations from previous values.
According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the buying and selling rates for the US dollar were reported at 277.52 and 278.69 respectively, while the euro was listed at 310.68 for buying and 313.68 for selling. The British pound recorded rates of 366.63 for buying and 370.07 for selling. Additionally, the Japanese yen was noted at 1.74 for buying and 1.79 for selling, with the UAE dirham at 75.57 and 76.16, and the Saudi riyal at 73.89 and 74.41 for buying and selling, respectively.
The interbank rates also exhibited a stable pattern, with the US dollar noted at 277.00 for buying and 277.20 for selling. The figures suggest a period of relative calm in the currency exchange sector, indicating a balanced demand and supply dynamic in the market.
