Faisalabad Accelerates Infrastructure Projects Including Key Road Construction

Faisalabad: In a push to advance local infrastructure development, Commissioner Silwat Saeed has directed the district administration to hasten the completion of various projects, including a significant road linking Chak 106-JB with Chiniot. This initiative is part of a broader effort to improve transportation links and enhance regional connectivity.

According to Zameen.Com, Commissioner Saeed recently reviewed progress on ongoing projects and called for the rapid implementation of the model village scheme in Chak No. 44-GB, Tehsil Sammundri. Additionally, she has mandated revisions to the plans for the 6.5 km road project to ensure its prompt and efficient completion. In other developments, the Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) has successfully repaired major sewerage lines on Sargodha Road near Muslim Town No. 2 and Sheikhupura Road, relieving significant community inconvenience. Managing Director Aamer Aziz confirmed that the repairs were carried out swiftly with heavy machinery, fully restoring the sewerage system in key areas such as Gulistan Colony No. 1, Islamia Park, and Muslim Town.

These efforts underscore Faisalabad’s commitment to enhancing its infrastructure to support economic growth and improve the quality of life for its residents.
